Barbara Smith (b. 1987, Rockford, Illinois)

A multi-disciplinary artist based in San Diego, California primarily working in photography, printmaking, experimental music and video. Her work explores the personal narrative in context of a larger discussion on feminism, femininity, class systems, theories of beauty, sexuality, shame, and motherhood.
